Who doesn’t love streaming? Even though your guests will be out doing other things, they still want to come back after a long or active day, sit and enjoy some tv to relax. There are several options to choose from like Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime amongst others and they have options for adults or kids as well.
Outdoor Spaces
This won’t apply to many vacation rentals but if you have an outdoor space to provide your guests with a nice outdoor experience, you absolutely have to take advantage of that.
No matter the reason why your guests are traveling, a beautiful outdoor space is hard to pass on.
Don’t you love getting some fresh air, or grilling something outside? maybe something more relaxing like reading a book or just having a drink and enjoying the weather, let your guests have that as well with some beautiful outdoor furniture, remember to keep it clean and inviting.
If you add some high-quality furniture you can even increase the price of your rental, it can be any type of furniture, couches, dining tables and chairs, a nice grill or even fire pits!
Outdoor Supplies
While we are on the subject of outdoor spaces, if your rental property is near a body of water like a lake or a beach, or a location of interest nearby, you can provide your guests with supplies they can use to enjoy those activities like kayaking, balls for the beach or anything related to activities around your rental. A nice touch for a beach would be having a beach umbrella as well in case the guests don’t have their own.
Recommendations and Local Guides
Make your guests’ life easier when arriving at your rental. They might not be familiar with the area and they might not know the interesting local spots in town either to have fun or to eat, especially local restaurants that are not full of guests and don’t offer great food, you probably have better restaurants, bars, coffee shops, etc. you can recommend that the locals know about, so providing guides and recommendations for them will provide an extra for them that they won’t forget.
Make Your Rental Pet Friendly
We have touched on this subject before, making your rental pet friendly can increase your bookings since many people consider their pets as family, and also can increase your price since not everybody allows pets in their vacation rentals, so there is not enough supply for the increasing demand.
Keep in mind that becoming pet friendly means having certain instructions for the owners so the pets won’t damage anything and since their furry friends will shed, you will need to double the cleaning most probably, but having some bowls for water or food will be appreciated by them.
